The pieces on show as part of the Mysterious Forest feature are Icefalls, Twill, Leaf and the Lasvit Crystal Wall. This is the first time that all four of Lasvit’s dramatic lighting artworks have been showcased in the Middle East.

The Icefalls is a masterpiece from respected Czech designer Jitka Kamencová Skuhravá. The designer has drawn her inspiration from the Scandinavian nature in the wintertime, and the design of Icefalls design recalls the majestic formation of icicles when frozen water melts, drips and fuses together to create frozen sculptures. Simple and minimalist yet very distinguished, says Lasvit.

The Twill is designed by Táňa Dvořáková and made of crystal beads to produce a piece that sparkles and changes colour depending on the angle.

The Leaf, by Katarína Kudějová Fulínová, is a modern design brought to life in hand-blown glass. The Leaf is best set in a luxurious hotel lobby or restaurant, or a high-end residence.

Lastly, Lasvit Crystal Wall is the symbol of a new era in glass design – the glass object offers versatility as customers can choose their personal combination of components.
