Jocelyn Warner is one of the leading lights of San Francisco’s artisanal wallpaper specialists, the Wallpaper Collective. She is known for her elegant, feminine prints, but her latest collection has little more steel – despite the names! Lace has a wood-blocked look, surface printed, but feeling hand-crafted – “very much in the William Morris tradition” says Wallpaper Collective. It comes in five colourways including the Black Beaded Lace shown here; this uses a new printing technique that allows tiny crystals to sit firmly on the paper and add a sparkling effect.
